The Washington Commanders were officially sold to Philadephia 76ers and New Jersey Devils owner Josh Harris on Thursday. The total sum of $6.05 billion is the largest amount ever paid for any sports team, and exceeds the sale of the Denver Broncos last year by 1.4 billion dollars, which was previously the large amount paid for a sports team.
