Daily Buzz: The Angels get honest about Josh Hamilton

A lot has been made following the news that MLB will not discipline Anaheim Angels outfielder Josh Hamilton after he admitted to cocaine use.

The Angels front office was obviously not pleased and team president told reporters that it defied logic that Hamilton was not suspended.

None the less Hamilton is still not on the field as he recovers from shoulder surgery. At what’s more Hamilton’s paycheck has well outsized his production in Southern California.

Many bloggers, social media types and national baseball reporters had a problem with the Angels public displeasure.

I found it refreshing too often teams hide behind the let it play out we re concerned but never public ally vent the appropriate u happiness that one of their highest paid employees made a poor decision.
